Amherst Sale Prices Range From $60,000 To $580,000 So Far

AMHERST -- Thirteen property transfers were recorded in Amherst between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, but sale prices have reached the registry for only three of them so far, ranging from $60,000 to $580,000.

MARKET OVERVIEW The Hampshire County Registry of Deeds recorded 13 property transfers in Amherst during the period. Of those, three carry a recorded sale price: $580,000, $396,900 and $60,000, for a median of $396,900. The remaining 10 show no price yet, which is typical when a deed is recorded before the consideration amount reaches the registry's data, usually within about a week. 23 South Mount Holyoke Dr. sold for $396,900 on Sept. 4. The sellers were Osvaldo Estrada Jr. and Ligia Estrada, as trustees; the buyers were HMA Mortgage and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc.

95 Aubinwood Rd. sold for $60,000 on Sept. 8. The sellers were Katwiwa Mule and Lucy W. Mule; the buyer was UMassFive College Federal Credit Union.

The other 10 recorded transfers in the period, at 29 Justice Dr., 25 Strong St., 772 N. East St., 327 Shays St., 7 Kestrel Ln., 9 McIntosh Dr., 9 Van Meter Dr., 195 Pelham Rd., 8 Coach Ln. and 205 West Bay Rd., have no sale price available yet.
