UMass Research Park Deal Tops Hadley Sales With $3.75 Million Price

HADLEY -- Fourteen properties changed hands in Hadley between late September and late October, but only three deeds recorded a sale price so far, led by a $3.75 million purchase by the University of Massachusetts Building Authority.

Research Park LP and Oconnell Hadley Corp, general partner, sold the property to the University of Massachusetts Building Authority and the Massachusetts Community University of Massachusetts. 11 Sunrise Dr sold for $200,000 on Oct. 2. Sellers Andrea B. Picard and Paul T. Picard transferred the property to Citizens Bank NA. 68 Huntington Rd sold for $40,000 on Sept. 29. Seller Ashleigh K. Malinowski transferred the property to Polish National Credit Union. All other transfers recorded in the period show price not yet available.

NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN Three streets each saw two transfers recorded in the period.
