EASTHAMPTON — The Planning Board continued four public hearings to Sept. 15 because of primary election day. Hearings covered 35 Pleasant St, Mountainview St, 366 Main St and 132 and 134 West St. The board approved 11 sets of minutes dating to March 2025, then approved a standing authorization letting the chair, or the vice chair in the chair's absence, sign plans and documents. A speaker said the change would not allow "change decisions," only speed up signing multiple document copies.
The board also approved a one-year term for James Zarvis as its Pioneer Valley Planning Commission designee, starting June 2.
