City Council · Meeting of November 4, 2026

EASTHAMPTON — The City Council approved six Enterprise Stabilization transfers totaling about $540,350 for water and wastewater work. Items included $87,953 for a Ford F-550 to replace Water Truck 45 and $165,000 to finish an aerator project. Public Works Director Greg Nuttelman said repairing the rusted truck "would be an irresponsible use of municipal dollars." Mayor Derby told a resident he would not seek another override.

The council also heard library representative Chuck McCullough ask for $37,000 more next year, a 12.9 percent increase, and sent a community solar account for about 900 income-qualified residents to the Finance Committee. The Finance Committee had approved all six transfers, 3-0.
