A 5K run benefiting Belchertown's responders is set for Aug. 22, with early sign-ups earning runners a T-shirt and badge.

COMMUNITY -- The Select Board on July 6 approved a Police Department request to place temporary signs around town advertising a 5K run for Belchertown responders scheduled for Aug. 22. Board members said the signs needed to go out right away because, according to organizers, participants who enroll before the 25th will receive a T-shirt and badge.
