Town Water Use Restrictions Remain In Effect

EASTHAMPTON — Water use restrictions announced by the town remain the most concrete civic matter for residents this week, as Easthampton's free outdoor concert series continues Friday evening in the park.

TOWN HALL

The town's water use restrictions, posted to the municipal website, remain active for Easthampton residents and businesses. The town has not detailed an end date on its homepage notice, and residents are directed to check the town's site for specifics on which restrictions apply to outdoor watering and other water use.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

Easthampton's Arts in the Park summer concert series continues this evening, July 17, with a performance by Jimmy Mazz. The free outdoor series returns July 24 with a set from Colony Motel, giving residents two more warm-weather evenings of live music in town.

COMING UP

Several town boards and committees meet in the coming days, including the School Policy Subcommittee, School Committee Finance Subcommittee, Cultural Council, and Manhan Rail Trail Committee, all set for July 20. The Development and Industrial Commission (EDIC) and the full School Committee meet July 21. The BEES Committee meets July 23, though the Affordable & Fair Housing Partnership meeting scheduled that day has been canceled. The Easthampton Public Library holds a Technology Help session on July 22, and the Arts in the Park series returns July 24 with Colony Motel.
