Rail trail panel approves Lovefield fence, sends art letter
The Manhan Rail Trail Committee flagged flaws in a draft city e-bike ordinance ahead of a Sept. 16 City Council hearing. Members said the draft's Class 3 definition, assistance only while pedaling up to 28 mph, does not match how such bikes are made, and questioned how police would enforce it.

Rail Trail Panel OKs Narcan Boxes at 2 Kiosks
The Manhan Rail Trail Committee approved two NaloxBoxes on the trail. Emma Reilly, a police department social worker with the city's Drug Addiction and Recovery Team, presented the proposal, and members voted unanimously for boxes at the Union Street and Route 5 kiosks.
