Hadley Select Board Approves Same-Day Hotel Liquor License With Safety Conditions

HADLEY — June 30, 2026 — Hadley Select Board approves same-day liquor license for Marriott hotel event, with conditions. The three-member board voted 3-0 at a brief noontime Zoom session to grant Pioneer Valley Hotel Group a one-day liquor license for a private event at its TownePlace Suites property at 237 Russell Street, running from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Town Administrator Jennifer Caustic told the board she had been unable to reach Building Inspector Dave Voskiewicz before the meeting and would contact him that evening, asking the board to make approval "conditional upon any additional concerns that he has." The Hadley fire chief separately requested a pre-event life safety inspection, a requirement Caustic had uploaded to BoardDocs during the session. Kishor Parmar represented the applicant. Member Molly Keegan moved, Member Amy Parsons seconded, and all three members — Keegan, Parsons, and Caustic — voted yes.
