Fire Department Open House, Arts in the Park Set for Next Week

EASTHAMPTON — Easthampton's summer civic calendar fills out this week, with the Fire Department's annual open house, an Arts in the Park concert, and a library technology help session all set for the coming days.

TOWN HALL

The town is currently hiring, according to a "We Are Hiring!" notice posted to the town's official homepage on July 6. Water use restrictions remain in effect, per a town posting dating to April 30, a reminder to residents as the summer season continues.

Several town boards have meetings on the near-term calendar, including the Commission on Disability and Housing Authority on July 9, followed by the Licensing Board, Nashawannuck Pond Committee, and Conservation Commission on July 13, and the Planning Board on July 14.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The town's Arts in the Park series continues Friday, July 10, with a performance from the Hard Knox Band. The Easthampton Fire Department will hold its annual open house on July 14, giving residents a chance to see equipment and meet firefighters. The Easthampton Public Library will offer a Technology Help session on July 15 for residents seeking assistance with computers or devices.
