Easthampton Posts New Municipal Job Openings

EASTHAMPTON — The city is actively recruiting to fill open municipal positions, while a busy slate of summer meetings, arts events and recreation programs rounds out the week ahead.

TOWN HALL

The city posted a "We Are Hiring!" notice on July 6, pointing residents to open municipal job listings, according to the town's official News Flash feed. A previously issued water use restriction, posted April 30, also remains listed among the town's active notices, though no update to its status was included in this week's postings.

Several boards have meetings on the calendar in the coming days, including the Cultural District Subcommittee, the Easthampton City Arts Public Art Committee, the Commission on Disability, the Housing Authority, the Nashawannuck Pond Committee and the Conservation Commission. Meetings of the Board of Health and a separate Nashawannuck Pond Committee session originally set for July 8 have been canceled, per the town's public calendar.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The city's summer outdoor concert series continues Friday, July 10, with "Arts in the Park" featuring The Hard Knox Band, according to the town's events calendar. The Easthampton Fire Department will also hold its Annual Open House on July 14, an event the town calendar lists as open to the public.
