Bangs Community Center Renovations On Track For Early 2027

AMHERST — Renovations at the Bangs Community Center, covering health and safety upgrades, accessibility improvements, and work to the Senior Center and the area near Room 101, remain on schedule for completion in early 2027, the town said, with the building staying open throughout construction.

TOWN HALL The Bangs Community Center project is the most substantial capital work the town flagged this week, touching the building's accessibility and the Senior Center space used daily by older residents. Officials said the center will not close during the work.

Separately, the town rolled out a new Agenda and Minutes Center webpage where residents can now find agendas, minutes, and links to video recordings for all town meetings in one place, consolidating records that were previously scattered across department pages.
