PLAINFIELD — April 14, 2026 — Plainfield Select Board postpones annual town meeting to May 30 and closes the warrant with at least eight articles. The board voted unanimously Tuesday to move the meeting from May 2, citing a compressed timeline created by an executive assistant transition, an incomplete budget, and pending legal review of a zoning bylaw amendment; a decision on whether the town election also moves will come at the April 28 meeting after KP Law weighs in.
