EASTHAMPTON — The Historical Commission voted by voice to support holding a historic preservation restriction on the old library at 9 Park St. The city's CPA coordinator said CPA design funding for the library annex carries a condition that the next funding request include such a restriction. She said temporary restrictions can run up to 50 years without state review, while permanent ones need Massachusetts Historical Commission approval. The commission also found that the demolition delay on 336 Main St. had expired June 3, with the owner reporting nearly 2,000 Zillow views and no offers.
It continued the 100 Briggs St. demolition hearing after an abutter-notice lapse.
