Granby library trustees approve $9,360 in warrants, weigh new copier. Library Director Jan Crosby told the board the 13-year-old public copier has failed beyond repair and will be replaced with a $3,819 black-and-white model, paid from the library's remaining energy efficiency grant funds. Crosby said December circulation hit 4,566 items and the library saved the community roughly $57,000 through inter-library loans.

She also reported that new zip-code and checkout limits placed on the library's Hoopla digital subscription cut the monthly bill from nearly $500 to about $400. "It's one of those subscription services that you just really have to track and keep an eye on because it can get really out of hand," Crosby said. Trustees tabled discussion of the Friends of the Library's bank accounts until February 10 because the trustee who raised the issue, Helen Boto, was absent.
